Accreditation procedure for national media to 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan GP draws to an end
Due to the high level of interest in the upcoming 2017 Formula One Azerbaijan Grand Prix to be held in Baku this summer, Baku City Circuit (BCC) has extended the deadline for the accreditation applications for national media from March 31st to April 5th.
Nigar Arpadarai, BCC’s Head of Marketing and Communications is delighted to invite all national media journalists to apply for the accreditation as soon as possible in order not to miss the opportunity to cover this major sporting event: “With great success, we held the accreditation of journalists and photographers last year to cover the first-ever Formula 1 race weekend in Baku. We created all necessary conditions for them which completely matched to the standards of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), and feedbacks we received from both foreign and local media, justified that all of them were highly satisfied with conditions.
This year, we intend to exceed last year's level and ensure the accreditation of the maximum number of national media in order to guarantee wide coverage of the upcoming race weekend of Formula 1 in Baku this summer.
Whereas the accreditation draws to an end, the Baku City Circuit calls on the national media to hurry with the submission of documents for the accreditation of journalists and photographers who will get a unique chance to be a part of the global motorsport event."
Mass media representatives, who successfully passed the accreditation, will have opportunities to interview both the world-class pilots and technical personnel of teams, as well as get access to daily press conferences within the race weekend where they will be able to ask questions to pilots and constructors. In addition, the media accreditation holders will have a chance to participate in the F1 entertainment program, in particular concerts of world music stars.
Media representatives can apply for accreditation by completing an online application form on the BCC website via following link https://www.bakucitycircuit.com/media/media-accreditation
