Highlights Throughout the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe weekend, there was a non-stop entertainment program for all ticketholders. The program filled with an array of world-class entertainment and on stage performances, including a range of activities for children. All entertainment located within the vending areas stretching along the seaside Boulevard adjacent to the beautiful Caspian Sea. Global Music Superstars Entertained F1 Fans in Baku Weekend of 17-19th June. Beginning on the evening of Friday 17th June, each of these three global superstars respectively took to the specially constructed Main Stage of the newest street circuit in F1 on a nightly basis. Friday night Chris Brown got the party started with one of his famous high energy shows that set the tone for the rest of this incredible weekend of entertainment and sport. The American singer, songwriter and dancer performed some of his biggest tunes, including the likes of Yeah3x, Look At Me Now and Beautiful People in front of thousands of F1 fans once the first day of racing completed on track. Saturday night Enrique Iglesias took over with one of his electrifying concerts that have made him one of the most popular live performers on the planet. Famous for his many hits including Hero, Bailamos and I Like It, the Spanish born singer is widely known as The King of Latin Pop. His back catalogue of passionate ballads and high energy dance music have helped him sell 137 million records worldwide and he is sure thrilled the watching audience at the Baku City Circuit as soon as Qualifying has finished on-track. A memorable weekend capped off on Sunday night when one of the biggest stars and most influential figures in world music, Pharrell Williams, took to the Main Stage to close out the 2016 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE with one of his celebrated sets. The multitalented American performer, songwriter and producer behind some of the biggest hits in the history of music, including Get Lucky, Happy and Frontin - to name just a few - delivered the perfect encore to Bakus inaugural Formula 1 race weekend, just hours after the final car has crossed the finish line at the 2016 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE. Autograph Sessions Throughout the Grand Prix weekend there were the F1 team autograph sessions. Fans met their favourite F1 driver and get an autograph. Azerbaijan Culture Lounge Fans got familiarized with the historic trade-secrets of Azerbaijan, including: carpet making, glass art, patchwork, pottery, shebeke, chekanka, wood cutting, making of miniature national musical instruments, arakchyn and charych making, embroidery, kalaghai painting, sampled traditional sweets and our famous tea. Roaming Entertainment Throughout all Vending Areas, roaming entertainers interacted with the crowd adding amusement throughout the day. Roaming acts included: Mirror People, Spandy Andy, Stilt Walkers, Street Artists, Titan the Robot and Traditional Azerbaijani Dancers. Family Activities Featuring face painting for children, F1 themed haircuts, caricature artists as well as nail and henna art. Fans memorialised their Grand Prix weekend at Baku City Circuit by having their pictures taken from the top step of a replica podium or in front of a giant #F1Baku hashtag. Children enjoyed other permanent attractions on the Boulevard, including: bumper cars, a pirate ship ride, the horror house, drop tower and various carousels. F1 Gamezone Fans also took the opportunity to experience Formula 1 from behind the wheel in the F1 Gamezone, where they were challenged to compete against your friends on driving simulators. Formula 1 Art Gallery Stroll through the history of Formula 1 on the Boulevard, featuring photos showcasing the history and excitement from the past 65 years of the Formula 1 World Championship. Aqua Script Water Wall A 12 metre wide waterfall dynamically displayed information about the activities taking place throughout the Grand Prix weekend.3D Floor Art Fans had photos taken and interacted with 3D floor art illusions, located along the Boulevard.Chill Out Zone Baku City Circuit also had covered a place to relax for fans. Unwind from the on-track action, featuring: comfy bean bags, umbrellas, couches, small tables and lounge chairs. Ramadan Tent Spectators who are fasting during Ramadan can break their fast in the evening with dates and drinks in the Ramdan Tent. Climbing Wall A challenge to climb the 8 metre tall climbing wall.Air Turbine Experienced the thrilling sensation of skydiving at Baku City Circuit.Half Pipe Skate Park A purpose built skate park with challenging ramps and rails, featuring performances from skateboarding and inline skating entertainers. Trampoline Show Professional acrobats amazed the crowd with their trampoline show. Spectators also had their turn through mini workshops on the trampoline. Motorcycle Stunt Show Motorcycle stunt professionals performed stunts for fans from within a giant metal sphere.Childrens Driving School Children learned the rules of the road in a fun and safe environment. Kids Karting A temporary karting circuit was constructed where kids competed for the fastest lap throughout the weekend. Download PDF format
